Laser Institute of Pinehurst Now Open Saturdays

Dr. Ofelia Melley, of NC’s Laser Institute of Pinehurst, now opens doors on Saturdays to accommodate customer demand and convenience.

Dr. Ofelia Melley, President and Medical Director of the premier North Carolina MedSpa practice The Laser Institute of Pinehurst, announced today that Saturday appointments are now being offered. Dr. Melley explains; “Our services have been in such high demand that we are now offering Saturday appointments. We’re thrilled to offer the extended hours to meet the needs of our patients.”


“The basic motto of our practice is 'Look younger, feel better'. I’ve been impressed and encouraged by the initiative patients have taken to better care for their physical being once they are pleased with their outer appearance. When you look in the mirror and see healthier, younger looking skin it inspires you to eat healthier, lose weight, begin or renew a workout regimen and even stop smoking. I have patients that are healthier and look younger than when they first started coming to The Laser Institute of Pinehurst over 5 years ago. It’s rewarding to see the impact our services have on one’s self esteem, well-being and general health.”


As a Fellow of the American Society of Laser Medicine and Surgery, a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians and a member of the North Carolina Academy of Family Physicians, Dr. Melley stays active and informed in the field of cosmetic services. She has stood on the Advisory Board for Merz Pharmaceutical, the Foundation Board of The North Carolina Academy of Family Physicians and has served 2 terms as a Board member for the North Carolina Academy of Family Physicians. Dr. Melley often speaks to local organizations on skin care, lasers and injectables.


Since opening in 2005 The Laser Institute of Pinehurst has grown with services, staff and product. A total of 7 lasers are on site to treat a variety of concerns such as aging skin, unwanted hair, port-wine stains, warts, acne, acne scarring, and wrinkles. Botox, Juvederm and Radiesse procedures are also available and performed exclusively by Dr. Melley. “A Liquid Facelift” is a way to describe the effects of injectables; frown lines are easily smoothed, as well as hollows and crow’s feet. The “tired look” can be erased away and volume added to lips and cheeks with little to no down time. Further aesthetic care performed by highly trained licensed professionals includes facials, chemical peels, waxing, massage therapy and rejuvenating treatments for one’s skin and body. Skin care products are specifically chosen to complement and enhance a patient’s skin type and can be purchased on site or on the online store.
